Fantastic customer service! We purchased several curtain lights for our wedding and Dean was very helpful in helping determine what we needed and in what quantities to get the best bang for our buck! It was beautiful!

How long have you been in business?
Dean Nida has proudly been in business for nearly 30 years, serving the U.S. from our hometown in Columbus, Ohio. We recently relocated to Sarasota, Florida and are building our network locally with the fine folks and businesses of the gulf coast!
What is your primary product or service?
We primarily offer Holiday indoor/outdoor lighting as well as custom lighting displays.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dean Nida & Associates, LLC started in 1988 under the name of Nida Lighting. We were originally established as a full service holiday lighting and decoration company serving Central Ohio. Our initial clientele were residential customers whose houses we decorated for Christmas. Gradually our client base shifted to commercial accounts, which includes such notables as Children’s Hospital and Longaberger Basket Company. Over the years we have evolved into a supplier of high quality lighting and decor products for consumers, businesses and city departments in all 50 States and 10 foreign countries. Our product lines include stock and custom street pole banners, LED lighting for all uses and specialty lighting for events such as weddings.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer one-on-one consultations with our clients, find the best products to suit their needs and provide education on extending the life of the products purchased. We stand behind our products and will be here to answer our phones without having to wait on an automated system.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently operate out of our office and warehouse in Sarasota, Florida. In the future, we will have customer service representatives scattered throughout the United States providing face-to-face interaction and exchange with new and existing clients.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, checks and money orders.
Which areas do you service?
We service local and national residents and businesses.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Our company is proudly owned by Dean Nida, a longtime resident of Columbus, Ohio, and current resident of Sarasota. Anytime you feel that you need guidance on your lighting, feel free to contact our office and Dean will be more than happy to consult with you!
What are your hours of operation?
We are in the office from Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, but are often in and out serving our customers, so you may reach us after hours if needed!
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Anytime we hear that we helped make an event SHINE or a season BRIGHTER, we're completely satisfied.
