How long have you been in business?
The store was started in 1995. Kathy and Michael Bush purchased the business in 2003 and has transformed it into the leading contemporary showroom on Florida's west coast.
What is your primary product or service?
We sell contemporary and modern furniture from name brands like Knoll, Herman Miller, Fritz Hansen, Moroso, Artifort, COR, Draenert, Thayer Coggin, Dellarobbia and many more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Michael was an executive with Exxon Mobil and subsequently ran Domino's Pizza in the UK and another business in the UK. In Sarasota, he ran Epicurean Life for 2 years before moving on to Home Resource. Michael provides the strategic direction of the company and Kathy runs the showroom. Kathy is a multi-talented person with skills in color, fabric, spacing planning and an excellent eye for high quality, timeless designed furniture.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have brands that no one else has on the Florida's west coast. However, it is the customer service and experience that we provide our clients that differentiates ourselves from our competition.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are only located in Sarasota. We have the ability to continue to expand our showroom beyond the 7,000 ft that we currently represent.

We are located in the historic Rosemary District of Sarasota. We are north of Fruitville on Central Ave, next to the Sarasota School of Arts and Sciences and across the street from Planned Parenthood.
What type of payments do you accept?
All Major credit cards, personal checks, and cash.
Which areas do you service?
We can ship furniture anywhere in the United States and Canada.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Michael handles the operations and Kathy handles the showroom.
What are your hours of operation?
M-F 10am - 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
We get this compliment all the time, 'we had such a great experience with you furnishing our home in Sarasota, we want you to work with us on our home in the north"
